For weight issues we keep it to a minimum. No point to drag extra weight down the road

No pictures but we decorated the inside, Northwoods. A moose, bear & pine tree border was added around the inside of the trailer. Statues of moose, bears & pine trees are acattered about along with pine cone/pine tree garlands on upper ledges. Country bears can be found everywhere.....nice accent.

We use things we can pack away quick, like plastic plants and those battery operated candles. We also have several photo frames attached to the walls that we periodically exchange out the photos to the latest.

Alpenliter, I like what you did to you rig's interior. You're right about the interiors from the factories being cookie cutter design. That's why when we go to RV shows we come out just dazed and confused about which rig was which. Maybe you and your DW should go to the mfgs and offer them some creative interior design ideas.

No pics to access here at work, but we always make our house our home. One of the easiest ways to keep things updated is with cork boards. We hang a couple of decent sized boards in strategic places (quite light) and then pin photos on them. We are always changing and updating the collage as the grandsons get older or we visit cool places... or if I just happen to take an excellent picture of the DW! It is ever evolving.

Otherwise, a few little plaques over the doors, an antique fishing rod and reel in the space over the slide (with the line running across the ceiling to an antique lure) and new lighting fixtures make the place way more comfy.

Yes, the light fixtures make a huge difference. We get ours from the big box store or electric supply house. You can buy low voltage track lighting and then don't use the ballast part. I have replaced several of the nasty plastic "RV" fixture with hanging lamps from the ceiling. They do not sway much while moving- I keep the cord or chain short. I do however check the globe screws after every trip.

It's the little things.

Edited for spelling.

Were old time campers so our 5er is just a camper. As long as it has a bed/potty/fridge/stove we just use it to get in out of the rain or a fix meal. We leave it like it is. We do add items on occasion for function not for looks.

I just retotaled all the receipts and it was $3268, including the furniture. You will enjoy doing the whole thing.
