Hello everyone,
I would like to buy a class C motorhome and would have to sell my 1995 27 Ft Starcraft FK. I had to replace the old ammonia refridge with an electric one and I used laminate flooring. I would expect a selling price of around $4500.00 for this unit. Does that sound about right. I would rate this as average and is located in the southeast. I can provide photos with a link if needed if someone wants to provide input. I will be selling this in the Winter in January / February.

Thanks
Chuck

nadaguides.com says between $1600 and $2000. Try checking Craig's list and the RV sales posts.

As a guide I would look it up in the RV section of the NADA book and realistically maybe expect s little below that. If I were selling my Jayco 1999 25 ft. 5th wheel with no slide-out I would probably ask aroud $5000 but take $4000 or so and its a 5th wheel and a bit newer than yours.

hello all and thanks for the reply

I see other travel trailers made between 1995 -1997 and they are asking around 5000-5500 on craigslist in my area. The quality of the starcraft is pretty decent. I guess I will have to look around and compare prices and will find out when I am ready to sell mine. I appreciate the feedback

Dissappointing. I did look up my 1999 Jayco in NADA and according to that it may be "worth" only $3000 to $4000. But it is a little confusing to know about adding for options. That seems low because good small 5th wheels are hard to find.

call your bank and ask a loan officer what the loan value is.

NADA is notoriously high even without option boxes checked. Ask anyone with a 2008 unit that they bought brand new to look the NADA value up today. Chances are it is more than they paid for it.

NADA book is garbage if you want to sell and over anticipated if you want to buy, meaning it sets false sale prices in peoples minds that want to look at used and go by those numbers. IMHO.
I just sold my 2001 Sunnybrook, according to NADA I should have asked 3000-3400, When I inquired for trade in the dealer used the book and offered 1500, half of the retail value listed,"it is wholesale you know".
I listed my trailer on Craigslist at 7800.In 2 days I had several calls and the trailer was sold to the first one that looked at it.

Find out what the average in your area is for your style camper, list it , ignor the NADA, and you'll do fine.
