We got hit hard a week ago in NE Wyoming -- 6 to 8 inches of wet, heavy "cloud poop" broke big limbs off of most of our trees. Our street looks like a tornado must have hit, with all the broken limbs piled up near it. And it's only gotten colder with more snow in the last week. At least with the colder weather, the snow doesn't pile up on the trees and break off more limbs.

In Tampa Bay it has gotten down to a chilly 92! We expect our usual two days of winter followed by hotter than **** till summer.
We have one season- hot.

Tom, bring your Collingwood Edition up to the Smokies and enjoy the cool, not cold, weather.

Don't you just love those southerners, never heard a peep out of them all summer long, now they chime in.Oh thats because they can't breath most of time, from mid April until mid October because its so dam hot and humid, they can't even think to crawl out of their homes none the less campers. At least we can enjoy the lovely leaves changing into a spectacular leaf show, then the pretty white fluffy stuff. Its worth it to see the kids have so much fun.We just build a bigger fire and put on a hat and gloves and enjoy the weather,as we don't have a choice like some of you snow birds......
If its Friday, see ya on monday.Have camper, will camp.

Sigh, here you are talking about cold weather and the end of camping(RVing) season and I don't have my new 5th yet looks like it will be another 3 weeks before we get it and was looking forward to taking it out. Well maybe the realy bad weather will hold off here in western Orgon for another month and I can at least get one weekend in.

We were planning on heading north to Wisconsin in a couple of weeks BUT the northern half just got 2 inches of the white stuff today. Looks like we will be going south this time. Is it me, or are the summers getting shorter. As a child summer vacation seemed to last a lot longer. Now day's it's over before you know it! I have heard people say "life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end, the faster it go's"

Don, heading to Fancy Gap, VA on Saturday for some leaf peeping on the Blue Ridge Pkwy & the NASCAR race in Martinsville on the 25th. I'm lovin' the weather forecast for the area already...........

Now that I'm all "grown up" I'd love to go back to Michigan, but that's something that won't happen until the real estate market gets its groove back, especially down here......... And what you said is not true; I crawl out of my house regularly to mow the lawn and get in the pool!

I enjoy the leaf show for a while, but I hate winter. I guess its about time to get our ATV's and Side X Sides out anyway.
