fyi..wd-40 does NOT contain fish oil

Thanks for the info. I generally use either Kroil or PB Blaster with pretty good results. I am going to try the ATF/acetone mixture. Mike.

An old home brew valve oil for trumpets is Ultra Pure Lamp Oil with around 30% ATF.
FWIW- I'll have to try the acetone/ATF (not on my trumpet, though .
