We own a home but live in a fifth wheel. To me full timing is spending your time in the fifth wheel.

My mother lives in our house when she passes we'll make some choices there.

My wife and I live full time in our mh. No house, no land two membership cgs that we go between most of the time as they are only 4 miles apart. We both work in the town that I grew up in. When my mom died and I got some money from her estate a friend asked if we were going to buy a house to live in and we replied" no why would we want to do that?" If people don't understand then they just don't. We haven't gotten it together enough yet to just travel around. The decision to move into the mh was made for long range goals that we have.

There ya be. Best definition yet. Why would anyone worry if they meet the standards of another?? As long as you enjoy doing what you are doing the rest doesn't count. Call it what you may/wish. This forum is for everyone. No prerequisites.

For some, and for others, they have one or more homes/lots arounbd the country and fulltime in their RV.

I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

Having a place to go back to, in our situation an RV lot, does not make us any less fulltimers. We've lived exclusively in our RV for more than four years now, regardless of where it's parked.

We also have two membership parks, or "home parks", that we use along with Coast to Coast, ROD and other membership locations during our travels during the warmer months. During the winter we tend to stay put on our lot in Texas, however, if we choose to try someplace else in any given winter season we can always rent the lot out...

The point is, living in the RV fulltime, in our opinion, is what constitutes "fulltiming", not where the vehicle is sitting while you're in it.

RV'ing is taking trips with an RV. Full time RV'ing is when the decision is made to continue 'traveling' all the time.

RV - RECREATIONAL Vehicle. On the road 'traveling', whether it be all the time or between several places following the warm weather and enjoying all the wonderful sights to be seen across America.

IMHO an RV parked in one place permanently is "living" in an RV not Full Time Recreation.

Perhaps we need a need a new forum for people who are living in an RV that would address the specific questions and info related to their choice of the type of home they choose to live in.

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

But, the argument would then be, HEY you can NOT travel ALL the time. You gotta stop and smell the roses. And, sometimes it takes a few months to "smell the roses".
I suppose you could call that 'a fulltimer smelling the roses'.
