I don't buy these too often and didn't realize there was two in the package, but since it was thawed out I had to cook it. I used a recipe I got from Food Network for a seasoned rub and it wasn't that great. We ate one and put the other in the freezer for later. Now I have no clue what to do with it,or how to jazz it up! Any ideas will be appreciated!

shred it and get a small can of diced green chilis and a jar of Herdez green salsa mix it all together and eat it with flour tortillas. Makes a great chili verde.

I think I would shred it up and mix it with some hickory B-B-Q sauce and warm it up and have some pulled pork samiches.

I cool a loin roast and slice very thin. Then make up single-sandwich size portions for later use as needed. For bbq style, just shoot a little sauce into the bag before freezing; the slices can be chopped or shredded when done this way.
When cooking a loin, I use Mrs. Dash heavily (no salt), and brush on bbq sauce at the end. This makes a spicy crust for sandwiches.
As an alternative method for loin, slice 3/4 thick, season & flour and fry as pork chops.
I bought four loins this month at $1.59. Thawing the second for roasting tomorrow. I think I'll try fancy mustard with the spice rub.

McCormicks makes a slow cooker package for the crock pot. Follow the directions and it is a great Pulled pork. The name of the package is Slow cooker pulled package and you find it in the spices where the McCormicks is located.

A fantastic seasoning/rub to use is Spike Gourmet Natural Seasoning. It is delicious and can be used for everything. We use it on meats, fish & poultry, & when steaming vegetables and potatoes. I've also used it to spice up my gravies. you can use it for anything. You don't need to use anything else and it always makes the food taste great. I'm never without it.

Thanks, but its already cooked, will try to remember the rub/seasonings for next time. I just need to know what to do to make the leftovers in the freezer taste better than the original dish!

Pork fried rice. Buy the fried rice seasoning in the asian section of your local grocery store and follow the directions on the package. It's one of our favorite "leftover" meals.
