Ok I searched and came up with 0. I would like to de-winterize our RV in late winter to head south. How does everyone collect all the antifreeze out of the plumbing system in the RV and then what do you do with it? Thanks.

It is a non toxic, bio-degradable product, that you can flush down any drain. No special disposal needed.

Hi TBSBJAY,
I collect it and reuse it as I winterize 6 or 7 times per winter.
It is safe (but unpleasant) to drink. There are no issues with dumping it that I am aware of.

Propylene glycol, the primary ingredient in RV anti-freeze, is a common food additive that is also used in many other products such as cosmetics. It's both biodegradable and water soluble, and requires no special handling in normal consumer quantities. If recycling is not an option, then dumping it down the drain should be harmless to septic systems or waste treatment facilities. Even dumping it on the lawn should not cause any problems, as it will biodegrade in a few days at most, and is harmless to animals in small amounts if they should happen on it. Since it's odorless and virtually tasteless (unless yours has an added bitterent), animals are not attracted to it the way they are to the sweet tasting and hazardous ethylene glycol used in automotive anti-freezes.

I just flush it out the system and leave in holding tank till I empty the tanks at a campground. It will kill grass if you spill it on grass but it is safe to drink go figure.

If it's killing your grass, it's probably got Bitrix added to it (or other nasty stuff). Bitrix is the additive that makes it taste nasty to animals and drunks so they don't drink it, and also makes water lines taste/smell foul in the spring.
Good RV antifreeze, made from Polypropylene Glycol will not kill your grass, your dog, your goats, your uncle that drinks too much at Thanksgiving and Christmas, or even your chickens.

I run mine out on the grass. No problems so far, but it is meadow grass, not bluegrass.
