I am assuming some of you have the EZ Pass or other turnpike transponders - was wondering where you put the device on your windshield for best results?

Mine is located just to the right of the center divider on my split windshield, just about at the height where a rear view mirror would go if I had one. From the drivers seat, that puts it behind the overhead TV and out of the driver's field of view.

On our Super "C" I had to put it near the bottom of the windshield because of the cab-over but on an "A it should work just about anywhere. It would be like a "Big rig" and they have them near the top of the windshield.

I had ours on the lower left corner of the windshield and had problems triggering the detector.
I asked a toll agent about it and she said to put it right of center, lower rather than higher, never had a problem since.

In Florida, the Sunpass is a high theft item, so we just lay ours on the dash when needed and keep it out of sight otherwise. It works just as good laying on the dash, as it does mounted on the window.

Since I can move mine from vehicle to vehicle, I just toss it on the dash on the drivers side close to the center of the vehicle. Always works for me.

I'm confused. Where did this discussion begin? I can only get Rocket Heart's 10/24 8:490 am post as the first post in this thread, but he seems to be responding to someone else.
How can I read the full thread?

Tom's post is the thread starter. I suspect you misread it, since there's nothing there to indicate a reply.
