We will be moving in a few months and have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ that we need to tow behind out F250. Was reading the manual and what I got from it was using a tow bar was ok and to put both the manual transmission AND the 4 wheel drive lever in the neutral position. Just wondering if there is anything more we need to know or if anyone has any suggestions that would make it easier. Will be towing from Georgia to Mich. so up and over a few mountains and mainly interstate driving. Any input would be appreciated. THANKS

That seems odd. I would have thought that you would want both the tranny and transfer case in neutral.
Any idea why? Just curious.
