I just purchased a used Kar Tote or similar name, that was kit built several years ago. I think it was purchased originally from CW.

Where may I buy repair parts such as the pin that clicks when the vehicle is driven onto the carrier?

Also is there a licensng requirement for the car dolly? Additionally, what problems may I expect pulling a middle sized car ebhind a 35' motorhome?

First: Is it a Roadmaster? Does it have a pin in the middle of the dolly (removable)that locks the wheels and prevents them from moving sideways when a car is on the dolly?
Are you referring to the device that is on the hitch that has two pins on itthat slides forward when the car is loaded? If so, and it is a Roadmaster, you can contact them and they will help you get the part.
As to a midsized car. You need to know the weight of the car. Most of the dollies do have a maximum carrying/tow weight. Again, Roadmaster can help.
As to licensing: Check with your state's DMV for licensing requirements. Some states do and others don't and I don't know about Ohio.
