In a day or we'll travel south and take I-55 south and then west towards Little Rock. We'll need an overnight parking site ideally just west of West Memphis, Tenn. on the I-40. Another option would be on or near I-55 just before it connects with I-40.BB
p.s. If there are pull-thru's - it's a big plus.

Try Tom Sawyer campground in West Memphis. It's very easy to get to and from off the interstates, they have large sites, many pull throughs, services are close and the cool thing is that it is right on the Mississippi river so you can watch the river traffic. They charge about $30 nightly. No I don't work there, but have stayed there twice and like it.

The very easiest in/out is now called KOA. It is at exit 14, I55N, West Memphis. It is a nice cg, shady, all pull thru sites. It is right on the access road but is quiet - all the trees, I guess. We've used it several times.
See ya' down the road!

If you want to go that far, the Days Inn in Brinkley is adequate for an overnight.
They have pull-throughs, and it is easy on and off I-40.
Before you criticize someone, always walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you DO criticize them, you will be a mile away, and have their shoes.

While a couple of miles off the interstate, I would agree with Tom Sawyer - even if you arrive after dark, you'll enjoy all the lights as the barges ply the river a hundred yards out your window. Easy, paved, level and long pull throughs.

Yet another vote for Tom Sawyer! Not very far off the interstate, and a delightful stay. Room for rigs of all sizes.
