Now I am worried. I used my 12v compressor to blow out the lines this weekend. I didn't know that thing could produce that much pressure. I had all of the lines open when I did it so hopefully that helped prevent it from overpressurizing. I felt the air flow out of the low points and the different faucets and it didn't feel very strong.

With a 12v tankless compressor, there is no way you could over pressurize the lines with even ONE faucet open. It takes time to build up the pressure with those - even the really good ones.

Me, too.

I pump the pressure tank up to about 80 PSI. I drain the water heater tank first (and replace the plug) and open one faucet before starting the airflow. With the space from the empty water heater tank, plus the open faucet, I don't have to worry about pressure building up in the lines enough to cause a problem. I open the next faucet before closing the last one. I use two tanks of air (one would probably be enough) and go around all faucets at least twice.
