X2, except my rig is an FToy, and I use a CO2 bottle instead of a compressor. The welder actually lives full time in the ToyHauler since I have a Miller 175 at home

We use our Toy Hauler for offroading events so we typically travel with a full size Jeep, 40 gallon air compressor and air tools, Mig welder, full assortment of hand tools, spare drive train parts for the Jeep, spare fluids for engine, tranny, t-case and axles, spare tires and a whole bunch of other stuff. We also carry a fold up white plastic picnic table which has become a staple for our group. I also carry a 5 ton floor jack, jack stands, a couple percussive maintenance devices (BFH) and plenty other odds and ends. I've got the carrying capacity and having an air compressor has some in very handle changing trailer tires on the side of the freeway. It's not uncommon for our awning to become a work shop area.

You have Toy Haulers big enough for a Jeep? (Drool Drool)

I have a 2007 5th wheel 38FK Work and Play, My 03 TJ on 35s lives in the back pretty often.

This past weekend we drove through New Brighton Beach State Campground (we live near by) and saw a big Super C RV that was painted up with the Red Bull logo on it.

It was a big group, not sure what sort of group it was, but outside they had a humongous blow up TV screen, it must have been 15' X 15' !!!!

We were camped at St Andrew's, N, B. this summer when a very large MH pulled in to the campground. Nothing unusual about that but the MH was towing a, well, I guess I'll call it a two hauler. The hauler was higher than the MH and at least half the length. I never did get to see what was in it. It was bigger than our RV. The people didn't even spend a night. They parked in the front row of the CG and blocked the view for quite a few people. I think that the CG operators may have asked them to leave.

I see what your talking about all the time at the track. They are referred to as stackers. Enclosed car trailers that are high enough to stack multiple cars or just a car on a lift and your moving equipment below them.

Something like this.

A couple of years ago I camped at the NC State Fairgrounds while I was working in the Raleigh area. There was a dog show going on at the time and this lady pulls up to the vacant site next to me and asks if I can help her get backed in. She mentioned that she was there for the dog show and had TWENTY THREE dogs in her (what looked like) 28 foot class C. I suggested she would fit much better in a site about 10 sites away and I would be happy to help her get sited there. Thankfully she agreed.

Hello,
Once while camping my wife and i decided to go on a late night hike,We came around the corner of the campground road into the "primitive area" and came upon a group with one of those generators and light set-ups you see at construction sites-lit up the whole area like daylight must have been 20 people there.

A stacker! That is probably correct. Not something I would have thought of. My guess would have been a secret elephant smuggling ring.

Yeah, it's nuts out there.
My wife always brings this giant doghouse, with air conditioning and king bed. I don't get it. Heck, there's only 2 dogs, and they only weigh about 6 lbs apiece.

Roughing it is when the satellite TV signal to the bedroom TV isn't in high definition.

______

An unusual thing I saw once was at the site next to me, I heard an eclectic pressure washer running. I looked out and the hose was running in a small window high up the side of the rig, I assume it was a bathroom window.

After about 15 minutes of that, the guy comes out, disconnects the sewer hose, and starts shoving the end of the pressure washer wand down the sewer hose and cleans that out for a few minutes.

That struck me as unusual. Many people use a wand down the toilet to clean out the black tank (I do, as part of end-of-season winterizing) but that's the first time I've seen a pressure washer being used for that purpose. (This was mid August -- while it's possible that this was the first or last trip of the season, and they wanted to perform extra special cleaning, it seems unlikely that this was the case. I can only guess that this is their normal dumping procedure?)

I'm not trying to pass judgment on them, it just struck me as a lot of extra work. I've never seen anyone do that before or since.

Hahahha, when I first saw a stacker I thought the same thing. But if I where to run a pro team (one of my dreams) or own a shop that did prep for multiple clients including transport it would be a direction I would go. Of course I would have to upgrade from my current coach because I would need a lot more towing capacity. My Monaco can pull my trailer, race car and all its gear without issue...I love it for the track and I love just getting off work and heading somewhere for the weekend.
