We were in a CG in Ventura and as I was setting up my satellite dish a pop-up with a full size gas bbq in the back of the truck pulled up next to us. I said to DW "boy he's really roughing it eh" DW replied "yeah I wouldnt be surprised if he drags out a satellite dish next"

My husband is convinced that I have gone off the deep end. I just bought this: http://www.amazon.com/Trackr-Pet-Bicycle........dium/dp/B000QFRT1M/ref=pd_bxgy_sg_text_b.
We will be taking it to the campground this weekend for it's first run with the dogs. Not because we don't or can't exercise them by walking, we still plan on doing that. BUT we are going camping near a rail trail next weekend and I want to be able to ride my bike for the day without worrying about the dogs left in the camper. Now we can take them with us on our rail trail rides. I put them in it for a spin around the back yard last night and they seemed to be ok so I hope it works out.
I'm sure there will be people at the campground this weekend who cannot believe we are not walking our poor dogs...

I have a set of the old electric fireplace logs that I keep in the trailer. During the campfire ban season, I have them going in the fire pit and wait to see how many people try to rat me out for having a campfire.

I have a co-worker who has a 8.5 foot wide race car trailer. Inside he takes his motorcycles and.... a 14' pop-up camper! I imagine it is an interesting sight to watch him pull up, open the cargo trailer, pull out the motorcycles, and then the camper!

I bring a Hammock you know the double wide rope kind, I think its a Hatteras? That and a couple of Rachet Straps,(don't want to harm any trees after all) Haven't been to a campsite yet where I couldn't hang it on something. Most times its off the truck and whatever. Always get alot of positive feedback from other campers walking by.
