That would be the easy solution.

Besides, if I don't give him projects then he will think I don't love him anymore.

If that was in Arizona, I think it was my sister. She fosters dogs and usually has between 4-12 dogs. Takes them camping with the family in their popup.

+1 This may be the 'Best Mod' I've seen in a while. I'm envisioning other applications based on your idea.

Would you considering posting pics and narrative?

Thanks- Fred

I have a set of the old electric fireplace logs that I keep in the trailer. During the campfire ban season, I have them going in the fire pit and wait to see how many people try to rat me out for having a campfire.

That would be alien around here as we very rarely have a ban on camp fires in fire pits or rings.

We were camped at St Andrew's, N, B. this summer when a very large MH pulled in to the campground. Nothing unusual about that but the MH was towing a, well, I guess I'll call it a two hauler. The hauler was higher than the MH and at least half the length. I never did get to see what was in it. It was bigger than our RV. The people didn't even spend a night. They parked in the front row of the CG and blocked the view for quite a few people. I think that the CG operators may have asked them to leave.

I know it has already been mentioned; but, we carry a hammock (complete with stand). My DW bought it for me as my retirement gift!! Is she great or what??

I told her I would show my appreciation by trying to wear it out as quickly as I could. So, we have to take it with us on our snowbird trips because I never get to use it during the summer. There is too much work to do at the stick house.

Hmmm ... Fulltiming is looking like a better option all the time!

I saw one just like you described at Skidaway Island, GA but they parked in the recreational parking lot which was some distance from the camping area. They would have been too tall to get under the oak trees.

When doing some dry camping in one of Colorado's state parks this summer, the group set up next to us had a utility trailer with 4 generators on it. They were probably 6,500 watt contractor generators. The people had 4 tents, no RVs. Didn't have portable A/Cs (weather didn't necessitate A/C). They didn't run them at night for electric heat...not sure why, unless they had just come from a national generator convention. We were gone most all of the daylight, so I never did see what they used them for.

A couple of years ago I camped at the NC State Fairgrounds while I was working in the Raleigh area. There was a dog show going on at the time and this lady pulls up to the vacant site next to me and asks if I can help her get backed in. She mentioned that she was there for the dog show and had TWENTY THREE dogs in her (what looked like) 28 foot class C. I suggested she would fit much better in a site about 10 sites away and I would be happy to help her get sited there. Thankfully she agreed.
