Usually happened when we landed and DW was waiting for one of her scheduled programs to start and of course I couldn't get it to lock onto a DirecTV bird so everything became 'my fault' I never did find the answer apart from powering it up from the generator about an hour before we arrived at the CG. Not the exact location but, north/south latitudes. If you don't have them get King Dome to email info. Cleaning the various contacts helped and seems to help a lot of Kingdome problems, but I finally gave up and threw mine in the trash. I bolted on a real dish, a Winegard Trav'ler, and it always works, with all the Dish satellites, no matter the weather.
