I agree with you both that the Jordan is in a tier above the Prodigy. In my opinion, I think as far as any towing is concerned, I believe that the Prodigy is a minimum as far as brake controllers are concerned (ie Brakesmart > Jordan > Prodigy). If I had to ever use a time based controller, I'll just camp in my backyard.
Hopefully by spring, the Jordan will be in full production once again.
