Yesterday, I pulled a 37'5th wheel, 785 miles in 14 hours. I was alone, trying to get home from a trip I had made. I'll never do it again. The worst part, was one leg was through Atlanta, hitting the Talladega race traffic.
Anyone ever pulled that distance in one outing?

I towed from Southern Maryland to Casper, Wyoming in 2&1/2 days, almost 1900 miles. First day started out at 3:00am, did not stop except for fuel for 900 miles, next day 750 and rolled into Casper noon on the third. Towing 32,000lbs, truck and fiver. Your right, it will wear you out. I was lucky, no big city, all highway, I-70 &I-80 most of the way.

Too old and too smart for that kind of nonsense.
Glad you made it.

It's just not something I would do. If I have to be home I would leave a day earlier or take a day longer to get home.

Yellowstone to Topeka Kansas with only a 3 hour break for some sleep. Arrived home just in time to see my daughter before she went in for heart surgery so it was well worth the trip. Daughter is just fine now with a new heart valve in place and it gave me a good opportunity to road test my brand new Maxxis ST tires by traveling hour after hour well up into the 80s. They came through ok also.

840 miles / 16 hours to Myrtle Beach in Mid Dec and then again 2 weeks later to get home. Do not want to waste any vacation minute. Wife and Dog are with me so not solo. Randy

Glad we're retired so we don't have to do that stuff anymore. The last such drive we made was 1000 miles in a TC in about 20 hours to make the funeral of the wife of a good friend. They introduced me to DW on a blind date way back in 1963.
