The diameter is about 5 1/2 inches. It is about 1/4 inch thick.

I really do not want to win this game of "Stump the Dummy". I have been trying to figure out what this thing is for almost 3 years!!!

You guys are making my DW laugh.

That is the cover to the wrap drive governor phase loop lock sequencing drive. You shouldn't be going over light speed without it.

Maybe part of some kitchen appliance belonging to the previous owner. Juicer, food processor, beverage mixer?

Regardless what it is or what everyone thinks it is, the last thing I'd do is throw it away. Or was that the first thing I'd do?

I can't believe you have had that for three years. I have looked all over the place for it. Did you find it or the former owner? Please do not handle without latex gloves. It is one of the few left. Please put in a safe place and I will make arrangements for a pickup.

Oh, Oh, Oh, I know what it is. It is a Whatcha Macallit that you put on your Thinga Majig so it can keep your Sky Hook from dropping your Left Handed Monkey Wrench and jammin' yer muffler crank. I have used them all my life and believe me, they work. I have never had a muffler crank jammed thanks to keeping my Whatcha Macallit in excellent shape. Hey, if you are not going to use it, I will take it off your hands for a reasonable price. Just PM me and we can work out a deal.
