Our WW FK1900 came with a simple GE microwave http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=SpecPage&Sku=JES1033WB
It broke. Lit on fire. Nice. Want to replace it. Can i just go get the same size microwave from HD and move on? Or are there special rv microwaves that might be better suited.

Any microwave that is 110 volt. But you will find it's the depth of the microwave. The ones in the RV's are generally one inches less in depth. Measure depth of the present Microwave. It the replacement is the same or you don't mind it sticking out. All will be good to go.

You have to find one the same size that will fit in the cabinet, it will plug in on the back side and held in with a metal clip in back and 2 screws in the front, they are much harder to get out than putting back, mine quit one time and the fuse in it had blew replaced that and was fine, that was 8 years ago,

Just be careful how it is vented if built in. Most HD microwaves can't be built in. We ended up buying at Camping World to get a vented unit of the proper dimensions to fit in old cabinet space.

I took mine out already
I spotted a possible replacement, but i need to know if i need to get a special kind so it doesn't blow up with the bouncing of a rv.

I heard in the past it is not good to use a non-RV microwave in an RV. I've never had to replace one, so have never faced that decision. However, I did find this. I thought this comment was most interesting, especially coming from a web page from Camping World:
"We contacted Panasonic, Sharp and Samsung, who all assured us that their units were suitable for use in RVs, though Sharp Electronics was the only company other than Dometic that makes a model designed specifically for RV use."

We had the microwave go bad in the "C" we (had). It set in an upper cabinet and just went to the electronic store and purchased one close to the same size, built a new wooden mounting bracket and reinserted it with the old vent and was still working fine when we sold the unit a couple of years later. You could always use the space for storage and mount the new one on a counter. JMHO
My feet are fine as long as they are traveling.

cleoent wrote: Would this one work? The dimensions are good, BUT it says 115v outlet.. .hmm? So what's the problem? Your good old 110V AC is really 120V +/- 10% or 108V to 132V. All appliances will work within this range.
It's when you drop below 108V you may have problems, especially with things like A/C units.
