Hi,

I am new to this group. I have a 10 foot Citation Supreme Truck Camper and am looking for instructions on how to winerize it.

I have onboard potable water, hotwater tank for inside and outside showers, Toilet, gray and black water lines.

Are any of you aware of how I could find instructions? I could take it in to an RV place to have it done, but I am thinking this is something I should be learning myself.

Thank you for your time.

Dan,
Welcome to the Forum.
Here is a decent basic guide for the 2 methods....WINTERIZING

Doing it yourself is a great way to save money and become more familiar with your rig and it's systems.

Generic winterization instructions are good. Specifics for your TC, if it is similar to my 2001 10'8" are:

Fresh Water Tank Drain valve is next to your Black and Gray Tanks valves in the basement. ~1/2" ID PVC line with black 2-way valve.

If you don't blow down the system with air, you can drain both the hot water and cold water lines, using drain valves that can be found under the step up to the bed. Just pull up the ring to open the valve.

Hot water heater, found under the table seat, has bypass valves. The drain for the hot water heater is accessed from outside by removing the polyethylene plug (old plugs get brittle with time and break, yearly replacement with a new one avoids this problem). You might consider flushing your hot water tank, with the plug out, using city water to remove any sediments, prior to winterizing your other lines (no antifreeze in the hot water heater itself).
