Our neighbor ( I suspect ) came home one night and knifed the side wall of our trucks ( Two vehicles ) front passenger side. My tire was only about two months old. Is it safe to just add an inner tube to keep it going?

Knifed in the sidewall? Call your insurance company to see if you are covered in some way. If so, then good, if not, throw the tire away.

No do not try to fix the tire with an inner tube, will not work. It may be covered under vandalism on your insurance.

You cannot add a tube to tubeless tires. You need a new tire!

Most insurance policies have vandalism coverage that should pay for it, if you want to take the hit for a claim.

I would put a patch on the inside to the tire and put a tube in it and use it as the spare.

Hi,
THe police might be able to get fingerprints off the fender of the vehicle. Or maybe next time? Try to keep it clean enough that you are sure there are no stray fingerprints on the vehicle, so they can catch this dirt bag the next time.
I would call the police non-emergency number, and ask them what to do. Tell them you would rather report this over the phone this time, especially if you think there is no chance of getting fingerprints off the vehicle.
Once you have a chance of getting fingerprints, then have them come out and check the vehicle.
There was a guy in England that had to put a camera on his vehicle to catch who was busting out the windows. Later the same guy came back with a bottle of gasoline, lit it and burned the guy's car up!
The camera was in the house, and taping to a 6 hour tape. You can put a camera into the display mode, then record to another VCR, so it will record without using it's internal tape deck.
Good Luck,
Fred.
