We're driving from Vancouver BC to Spokane on Saturday to pick up the new trailer. We'd like to make it as far as Moses Lake heading back and was thinking we'd go as far as Moses Lake (2 hrs from Spokane?) and spend the night there in the new rig.

I can't find much info on that park, is it still open this time of year? Places to eat at Moses Lake? Looks like a fair sized town.

Any info appreciated.

Moses Lake State park does not exist anymore, transferred to City of Moses Lake and has no camping.
There is a nice RV campground, Suncrest resort. 509 765-0355 I-90 exit 174
There is some fair eating establishments. On Broadway there is a Perkin's, that has good food especially breakfast. There is some adjacent parking for oversize vehicles. I-90 exit 176
Several fast foods at I-90 exit 179

Cool!
I see you live there, local knowledge is always the best!

BTW, on Google Earth it looks like an RV spot right across the highway from the old park, is it? Doesn't look like one I'd wanna stay at though,
We'll stay at the one you posted.
Thanks eh!

No, not across I-90. It is just west of the park on the north side.
Should add that the best prices for fuel is around the Perkins. The Shell station has been one of the lower priced in Moses Lake.

Yah, the one you posted looks good, one exit down the road.

Was just wondering what is across I-90, looks like an RV spot or parking lot or something.

Is it about 2 hrs from Moses Lake to Spokane? Bout 5 hrs to Vancover BC?

That is Sunrise Resort. It is a membership style. We stayed there prior to moving to Moses Lake. Front part is good. but gets busy during summer. The back portion is rather trashy. Didn't care for management!
Suncrest has a good owner manager. Has solar heated pool. It is an old water slide park converted.
Yes, you are about 2 hours with tow doing truck speed limit.
Going to Vancouver will be close depending on which way you go. I like US 2 through Wenatchee coming in at Everett rather then I-90. Slow pace, but better scenery. About three hours plus to Everett.
