Hello,

Thank you to everyone for their great comments and wealth of knowledge in these forums. Even though I have only posted a couple of times, I have had many many questions answered through reading and searching this site.

I am in desperate need of help with my newly aquired 2005 Mandalay Presidio 39C on a Workhorse Chasis with the Cummings Engine.

I have no power to my electric flush toilet, basement lights, ft step light, ft secuirty light (handle), porch light, entry door awning, and to the ft driver and passenger fans.

These items were working and stopped on my last trip. The coach has 7,000 miles on it.

I have checked the DC fuse panel under the bed, in the rear inverter compartment and both panels under the front dash. None of the above items draw power from these 4 fuse panels. I have check each fuse with a test light.

Does anyone have any idea where the power for these items is drawn from? Since all of the items have failed at the same time I assume my problem is a DC fuse panel...but where it is I have no idea.

My main concearn right now is the toilet. I am using the coach this weekend for a football game and then leave on a trip next weekend.

A special thanks to Mandalay for running a wiring bundle draped over the top of the engine. Who thinks this is ok? UGH Only 7,000 miles and the wires were chaffed. I have repaired and re-routed. (these wires have nothing to do with the problems I was looking for)

The certified Mandalay warratny dealer has no idea where any of thes eitems get power from either and wanted to re-wire all of the systems and bypass the original wiring.

Any help is greatly apreciated.

Thank You,

Steve O'Grady

It sounds like your dealer is worthless. Take it to a RV dealer that has a good reputation like "JD Sanders" in Alachua. I've used them several times for MH repair and was real pleased with their service.

Steve,

There's a Mandalay Yahoo group that you might want to join and see if some one there can help you. Quite a few very knowledgable Mandalay owners. Mandalay Yahoo Group

Call Fourwinds, tell them you have a Presidio and that you would like to speak with a technician. Give the coach number to the tech and ask your question. They are usually very helpful. 886-919-4444
