We are new to this diversion and need help. If any of you see OMA OPA AUSFARHT on rear of a coach, that's us. It means gramma grampa exit.

I joined simply to have another knowledge base to draw on. It's not like it's expensive and they send you a nice kit with coupons and stuff, and two nice football plaques to put on your RV. I do think, in the long run, just the recognition of having the FMCA badges on the bus will pay off for us. Plus we got a discount at Coachnet. I may attend a rally next year, there is a local bus conversion group.

The Medex benefit alone is more than worth the cost of membership. The magazine is good. The conventions are fun. Just a few.

Best part is the magazine. The rest I can take or leave. Rallies might be good sometimes, but my experience hasn't been so great. I really questioned the need before re-upping this year, in the end, the more reading material won out.
Also our local chapter is a great bunch of folks.

Another vote for the magazine, though I'm hoping to get to a Rally this coming year, so that may boost things a little too. We don't get out as much as we'd like, so the rally would be an excuse....
If you use the "gifts" that come with the package, you will more than make up for the cost of membership!
Is it better than any other program?? I couldn't say for sure, but it's a great bunch of people.

That should be a easy answer for you for any club. Sit down and read all you get from the club, if it is what you need, can use and help then pay the money and join. If not then pass. We belong to several clubs, one being FMCA and it is things that help me and things I can use.

Out of all the things we have joined being a FMCA member is the best. I may be a bit prejudiced because I am quite active on the FMCA web site, but in reality it is a good organization to be a part of. The magazine is worth having, the rallies both national and regional are fun and informative. One of the things we like best is the chapter campouts. My wife and I belong to the Colonial Virginians local chapter. They have at least 30 coaches show up at each month's group campout. We will be having a big Christmas gathering and party at Beth Page next month and we will be working with the Toys for Tots program. Being part of an organized Coach community is just a good thing.

The dues are cheap, the magazine is pretty good, and you get a neat badge to put on the motorhome. Seriously, if you enjoy Rallies, it is a great organization.
