In the hills got 7-8 mpg. Drove the interstates at 5 mile under the posted speed limit most of the time, and tried to avoid a lot of stopping. Put 40,000 miles on the engine before trading it. Gas mileage and climbing power improved after 15,000 miles on the engine. Enjoy your travels. Don't plan on more than 8 mpg without a toad-----less with one. If you get more, consider yourself lucky. Usually travel between 55-62 mph.
