Had a 32 foot Four Winds Hurricane with the V-10, and got 9 mpg on flat land. In the hills got 7-8 mpg. Drove the interstates at 5 mile under the posted speed limit most of the time, and tried to avoid a lot of stopping. Put 40,000 miles on the engine before trading it. Gas mileage and climbing power improved after 15,000 miles on the engine.

Enjoy your travels.

Only if they have a very very light foot and don't drive over 50. None of our Fords ever got over 9 and the one that got close was 17' long and weighed 8,800#'s.
Our 35' Santara got between 5.5 a 6.5 on a good day even after the Banks kit was installed but that again was a 460.

If it's a 2004, you don't have a 5 speed transmission. Don't plan on more than 8 mpg without a toad-----less with one. If you get more, consider yourself lucky.

Have a 30' with 75 gallon fuel tank, without towing a toad get 9.6 with the toad 8.6, of course if in mountainous terrain it drops to 6.6-7.6. Usually travel between 55-62 mph.
