We just got a new puppy. A Japanese Chin/Llasa Apso mix. She is all of 3 pounds at 3 months old. DW wanted an "RV dog". She loves everyone, even our 2 your old GS. We already had two older dogs, a Cocker Spaniel and a Llasa Apso. She gets along with the Cocker but not too well with the Llaso, but his nickname is Grumpy Gus.

We may not have a chance to take her out in the RV before winter kicks in. But she should be house broken by next spring. I will post pictures of her when we get some. We already have an appointment with the vet for a check up and updates on shots. Her name is Sarah. Anyone else have experience with Chin mixes?

We have a Shi Tzu 3 months old and at 4 pounds; Sophie. She too is destined to be an RV dog. Our previous RV dog, Haley, was also a Shi Tzu. She went everywhere with us. She was 13 years old when she passed away a few months ago. It was a big emotional loss, but Sophie is just what we needed to carry forward our love and memory of Haley.

Congratulations on your new puppy, Sarah. Sounds like she will make a wonderful RV companion along with your other two babies. By the time you are one the road, they will probably be inseparable.

I took photos this morning but had to run to work before I could download them. I have also misplaced my glasses. Maybe Sarah hid them somewhere.

Welcome home Sarah! I am the proud owner of two Lhasa Apsos, they are wonderful companion dogs. I can't speak to the mix Sarah is but I bet she will be a great addition to your home & pack.

Looking forward to seeing those pictures.

Here is a picture. Black dogs make for terrible pictures. I will try to get a better picture. That cat is a medium sized cat.
