I have a question about snakes..
We have been getting a black snake in our tt. My husband was winterizing(yuk) it and he found another snake hide. This makes 3 that we have found in the camper and they are not in the same spot.
Does any one else have any problems with snakes and rodents getting in there tt while parked. We have this trouble in the summer as well and we have moved the camper to several different parking spots in your yard, but still have the same problem.

Do not believe that the problem is (where) you park the tt, as much as it is the holes in the under side of the tt. Do a thourough inspection under it and plug even the smallest spot that entry may be gained. Rodents can even crawl up the elect cord to gain entry. JMHO

Maybe when you move the camper you are taking the snake with you. Time to fumigate?

We moved!! No more nasty neighbors, no more rotten parking. I am saving this picture just to remind myself how bad it was.

Leave it there and you will not have any mouse problems this winter.

Good thing that has never happened to us. The DW would have the For Sale on it faster than a speeding bullet.

Is it a black rat snake. They are not venomous, but they do bite. They are a constrictor type snake and keep the rats and mice etc away. Actually they are good to have around to keep the rats in check. I'm not sure I would want one in my trailer through.

I Live on a farm, so I am not afraid of them, if i see them first, but I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night laying next to one. My husband sealed all the cracks while he was winterizing, but I didn't know if anyone might know of something to put around the tt to keep the snakes away.
And yes I would rather have snakes than mice, they are nasty...

Kind of wonder if you may have either had a nest somewhere inside or maybe just parked NEAR a nest at some point. Possibly leaving the heat on in cold weather? I've heard of lots of rodent problems but snakes...not so much.

Ger rid of the mice and the snakes will disappear. Guaranteed. They're only looking for free food an the mouse is it.
