Not something I would usually watch, but did you see that show last night? They all went to "camp" in California. They got three RVs at Camping World. They wandered through the store filling up carts with whatever they saw. One of them paid about $4,000 for supplies. Then none of them knew how to use anything they bought. When they got to their camping spot, it was a parking lot on the coast. It was funnier than that Robin Williams movie!

I was just worried when they wandered out to the parking lot and got into those 3 really nice Class A's and then I wondered who was actually going to drive them?!?! I see they got set up and the slides were out. LOL! I have to assume someone from either CW or the crew helped them...we just didn't get to see that

So basically they bought a bunch of stuff and didn't know how to use it. That makes me think that a lot of people will think camping is overpriced, cost prohibitive and to complicated to take on as a hobby. As far as I have seen the Jersey crew(that's not from Jersey) ruin everything they touch including the Jersey Shore. I don't watch reality TV because I understand the only reality is that they film on location. Between the stuff I have done with friends on TV and Radio, plus my wife working in cable industry for 11 years I can tell you its all fake except for maybe some of the reactions you see. They are told to talk about certain topics and stuff, though occasionally they go off script and muck it up like the bar fights they get into.

Oh darn I missed that......good ad for CW if you can stand the stupid Housewives shows. Maybe we'll get real lucky and the Jersey Shore group will go camping and get lost in the woods

Yeah, that bill was closer to $5k, but I imagine Bravo picked up the tab or maybe Camping World hooked them up for the advertisment. They were picking up stuff that they knew they wouldn't need and they most certainly won't be able to take home with them. I look forward to the next few episodes.

I was in Austin for a convention during the filming of the Austin Real World. There were about six of us having a beer in a club. We were the only people there. It was a really quiet place, which is why we liked it. Suddenly the Real World kids, a film crew, and about a hundred "followers" came. We old guys were asked to move so we wouldn't show up on film. They had a circle of men blocking the area and selecting who got to go on the dance floor with the two Real World girls who were dancing together. It was totally fake. I go to that club every year and have NEVER seen a crowd in it. I think that's why they chose that club to film. When the episode aired, it looked like the hottest club in town.

I can't imagine they would be riding inside the store (Camping World) on bikes if they weren't on television. Funny about that Real World Austin.
