Looking at possibly heading to the Charleston SC area next June. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good campground possibly with cabins for other family members within a short drive of Charleston? No substitute for experience.

James Island County Park is hard to beat. Full hookups, great sites, and just a short distance from downtown Charleston, SC. Have a great trip.

We were there in June with a rally and stayed at the Oak Planatation campground and it was really nice, but it is a ways out from Charlteston.
