What did I do wrong?

After deciding that my house batteries had failed, I replaced them (had to drive 125 miles round trip to Sam's Club) with four new 6 volt batteries. Got everything hooked back up, including my new battery tender system, and everything works. My voltage meter shows good. Now, my only problem is this, when I run my water pump the cabin lights flicker. I used to some flicker, but this is more than usual. What did I do wrong, if anything?

I found it! After hooking up I did not turn the house battery switch back on. That must connect to the inverter/charger. When I turned that back to on, everything is cool. As far as the hook-up, I took pictures of everything before removing the batteries and so I have a template/map for cable connections.
