Does anybody know if the San Jose del Taco park outside of Guadalajara is currently open? I have heard that Chumulco and Roca Azul are open, but we are looking for something closer to town. Thank you.

Well thank you all for the information. We shall be visiting in the future. In the meantime, a cocktail on the beach in Mazatlan.

That bus has a custom solid oak interior that is gorgeous. Would look good in a new Prevost!

Ya, that pink Sultana bus was a classic and probably the largest bus we have ever seen.

TWO FRONT AXLES as well as drive and tag.

I agree with Chris. This place is a Classic. At one time they had a great CCTV cable system wired to each site. A huge library, meeting rooms for Caravans and a restaurant. Is the pink bus still there?

It's a fun place that takes you to the past of rving in Mexico. The permanent places people have built out of old rvs and the small casitas are cool. There was an Avion truck camper in that back that was abandoned along with a many other rvs. We'll go back. We have solar so we don't need to hookup. The maids for the hotel were happy to do our laundry as well.

It's San Jose del Tajo.

The location is great, but the place has become a dump. Most of the sewer holes don't work, the electrical hookups are reversed, the water doesn't flow. Internet is available if you sit on the floor in front of the office. That's OK with us.

The bathrooms????? Don't even.

However, location, location, location.

If you've never been there it is quite the place. Run down, but you can imagine the place in its heyday. The club house is excellent 50s Mexican architecture. We love the place. The palapas in the entrance (one for burgers, one for cafe, and one for tacos) are great. The Mega is across the highway.
