My dometic brisk 1 13,500 went out while in AZ luckily it was in late OCT and I had a portable a/c which I used in conjunction with my one that went out. I'm looking at replacing my 13,500 ducted unit with a 15k unit to get a bit more cooling, summers in Parker AZ I would have to use a secondary portable AC 9000 btu to keep it cool in 110+F days, I was looking at the Advent 15k unit to replace my 2004 dometic brisk 1, I have heard some bad stuff back when they first came out but it looks like all of them are made in China anyways even the brisk 2 and the advent has a slightly higher btu rating. My TH is wired for a second AC BUT with a 30 amp system I would think I would have to buy two super efficiant AC's, I go to Parker AZ every year and want to keep cool, I can still use my portable when needed on a seperate circuit. Anyone have any experience with the Advent AC's? they look good on paper......
