My neighbor asked me to look into this to see if it would work well for her little Casita trailer--

Trailer Jockey at Amazon

Can't tell much from the photos. Anyone have one of these? Can the drive unit be separated from the tongue jack? If so, I would make an adapter to use the drive unit with the existing tongue jack--don't need two jacks and the mount for this one looks flimsy in the pics.

Any input appreciated--thanks.

These comments echo my own concerns. Sure was hoping to hear from someone who had one.

Thanks.

To me it looks like it could clamp on the frame and be lowered to drive. Do not think it is to replace the original jack. JMHO
