Every day you run it is the proper answer and first stop after you buy fuel. Simple rules in trucking work for RVS.

Any questions call Tiffin Factory Service @ 256-356-0261 Ask for service department, have your chassis # and Tiffin serial # handy (they want the Tiffin #, but can't help having both available). Both should be on your registration (at least ours is, since licensed in South Dakota) or on a label behind the driver's seat. The tech support will call you back, as going on hold can be quite a while, usually get a call back in less than an hour. The tech support has always been great when I've dealt with them. I believe the hours are 8-3 Central Time, most calls after 2:45 have usually came back the next morning. Our water separator is located inside rear hatch doors in front of the radiator, 2006 Phaeton 350 Cat Freightliner Chassis.

Thanks,

You should have a fuel water separator on the chassis frame rail. It's clear with a tap on the bottom for draining the water off. You should have two filters up on the engine for fuel filtration. The ones on the engine should have been done every time you got an oil change, I do the fuel water separator every 15k miles.

Yes, check on your primary fuel filter.

To find out what fuel filters you have and where they are located, contact your chassis manufacturer.

And, if a clear bowl on the filter, you can visually check for water or debris-- no need to drain.

Is there a tap on the underside of the filter housing?
