24LMercedes Sprinter 3.0L Diesel engine what can I tow?

The Specs say 3,500lbs. My Honda Civic weights 3,700ibs dry weight so can anyone suggest a tow vehicle please? It is A Tioga 24L.

Sprinters are roughly 4,400lbs here but the similar IVECO has a 7,700lb tow capacity

If the OP was a rockhound explorer (which they probably aren't) .... what light weight, high ground clearance, legal to drive on public highways, with at least two seats plus cargo ... 4X4 could they tow four-down?

You can easily tow a Honda Fit (2013 and earlier if you want automatic, all of them if stick), Chevy Spark and so on. Or 2012 Fit is quite happy behind our Navion 24V.

Go for a Suzuki Samurai (sidekick, tracker, or other). Light weight, 4WD, manual trans, lightweight.

Suzuki Grand Vitara is popular, too.

Or you could get a Daihatsu ROCKY, but good luck finding one.

oops CRV NOT CIVIC MY MISTAKE....CRV LX CURB WEIGHT IS 3380

GVWR IS 4,560
MAX LOAD IS 850

so with CURB WEIGHT 3380 I could load 120 lbs?
I USED TO BE GOOD AT FIGURING THIS OUT but looks like we could carry very little in the CRV if the Tioga will only tow 3,500lbs

The specs on a Civic say it weighs 2751 to 2899 depending on LX or EX.

I'd be really surprised if your Civic is that heavy. My larger VW Passat weighs 3200 pounds. Maybe 3700 is your Civic's loaded weight?
