Dometic AC

I have a 2016 TT and the Dometic AC cooled great for 6 months. Now it seems to blow cold air but does not cool down the trailer. I hear the compressor kick on, but when I come back to check a 24 hours later the trailer is not cool.

Any ideas what may cause this? I wonder if the probe is getting cold and shutting off the compressor?

Sometimes when running A/C on high it blows cold for awhile then freezes up. When that happens air blows warm. Turning it off for awhile then running on low or medium blows cold without freezing up. This is more common when running A/C on a humid day.

I've just had my second Dometic AC replaced under warranty. I had the same symptoms as you on both of them. In case you didn't know, you have a two year warranty.

If its blowing air and compressor running. Low charge or frozen up. I would double check condenser fan blade did not come loose.

Good Luck

Are you plugged into a proper power source, using the proper cord?

Had mine replaced under warranty for a leak.
