Whining noise in refrigerator

We have a Dometic twin-door refrigerator that periodically makes
a whining noise. The noise comes intermittently and seems to be
more prominate when the refrigerator is full and during extremely
warm weather. Have contacted Dometic Customer Service and they
have no idea what it could. Anyone else out there experiencing
the same condition. Will appreciate any input.

Sorry, there are NO parts on a Norcold OR Dometic that will make ANY noise. OTHER than the rear cooling fans. Any Icemaker will ONLY make a noise during the ejection cycle. IF you have a noise and it is NOT Fans, then there is another appliance in the RV close to the refer making the noise. Doug

As others have suggested my Norcold with no fans makes a whining noise from my ice maker. I removed the ice container for more storage and when it cycles it whines.

Some models mount the converter/inverter on the floor under the refer. Pull out the bottom drawer and look under there.

Also, Where's your grandkids.

I'm grasping at straws but if not fans, could it be the ice maker?

There are NO moving parts(to make noise)on a Dometic refer other than optional rear cooling fan/s. If installed, they will make a whine type noise. You can go outside and listen by the outside refer access door and can hear the fan/s. IF your refer is in a slide out room the odds of a cooling fan are hi probability. Doug

There are thermostatically controlled fans in the rear of the fridge to vent the air and prevent overheating.

Fan or fans? Think not much else to make noise.
