The Onan finally died. (has been nothing but trouble). I replaced it with a a open frame generator from Lowes for under 500. But I think I may have a heat problem. I ran it for about 1/2 hour and the compartment was very hot, even tho it is open ...

TNGW1500SE. I think your right. Although the fuel system for the coach is not pressurized I like the idea of a cutoff. I have installed an electric cutoff that only works if the Genny is running.
Yes my fuel line was higher than the generator carb. In fact I could lower the fuel line below the level of the tank and it would not flow.Your right about the winter weather on the fan. I haven't quiet figured that out yet.
