Thinking of taking highway 15 from Natchez toward Abbeville. I know it turns into highway 1 along the way. Just wondering about the road. Will be pulling a 5th wheel. Anyone been or live down that way?
Looking for a campground near Lafayette to enjoy the bayou and some Cajun food. Usually stay in state parks but don't have to. Also would like to be on water or at last water views. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
There are ways to get around but lots of changing roads.If you come down 24 take 155 east, which goes around downtown and you will go by Opry Mills and come out somewhat east of downtown. It will help some.

Will be spending the night in Natchez so it should be mid day traveling.Just trying to stay off crowded roads and interstate. Seems like it might be scenic going down that way.
