I’m going to a DIY repair on a couple of my windows.Trying to decide on using putty tape or foam. I had one window out a few years ago and used putty tape. Also any tips on this type of repair

After having my POS Blue OX true center fail and no help from them I would never purchase anything Blue OX again.Just got a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid and used all Roadmaster purchased from etrailer.
