I've got a 2020 AF990 camper on a 2018 F350 CC dually with only a 3/8 bed mat and have plenty of clearance. Have traveled thousands of miles on all types of roads without any issues.

I suggest measuring your overall height after loading the camper and write it down for easy reference to keep from having clearance issues with low bridges, tree limbs etc.
