After you put the phone in airplane mode, turn the bluetooth and wireless back on individually. The only thing off will be the phone radio itself. No problem operating this way.

Hard to say for sure without specific details, but if it's like most rv door handles/locks, you will need a key for the non-deadbolt lock. Only the deadbolt has the lever inside.
