RE: Ocala - Salt Springs

The Silver and Rainbow are fantastic snorkeling drift trips, it's been a long time since I've been on the Juniper Springs run but it is very popular. You may want to check out Alexander springs too, it's to the east of Juniper. The Ichnetucknee is the other major float but it is farther north near White Springs. Hopefully this is happening nin warmer weather tho it's supposed to be 80 tomorrow
Thank you.

RE: Ocala - Salt Springs

Thanks everyone. Was able to book at Wilderness RV Resort. I think this will work out pretty good. We are taking all the kayaks. Planning on paddling the Silver River, Juniper Springs, and Ocklawaha. Also planning on going over to the Rainbow River for paddling and snorkeling

RE: Zero-G water hoses

I personally did not have good luck with the Zero G. I use the Flexzilla Garden Hose now. Very easy to work with.

RE: Best RV repair company, roof replacement Oregon

Just wondering if someone in the area has a recommendation for a great RV repair shop. We live between Salem and Eugene.
Flexarmor is the way to go.

RE: Natchez Trace

For those who have driven the Natchez Trace Parkway. I was thinking driving from south to north. How much time would be good to have? Do I need to try and make reservations along the way? Or just start driving? Your experienced help would be appreciated.

RE: Correcting flipped shackles

Hook up to the truck and run one wheel up on a couple of boards. It should pop back in place.
Here's a video showing using a jack. I have helped a couple of people in campgrounds do it by running it up on boards. It will scare you when it goes back in place.

RE: Transfer switch popping every 15 seconds

Make sure your electrical cord prongs are clean and shiny. Also put some NO-Ox on the prongs. See if that helps.

RE: Roof coatings.

Anyone familiar with RV Armor, Flex Armor Gaco or other liquid roof coating? I suffered some damage to my roof and am being told I need a whole new roof. It's only 4 years old but I understand a dealer service shop needs to cover their butts if they are going to guarantee a new repair installation. Is the liquid roof stuff a good option? It's almost half the cost of a new TPO or EDPM membrane. Any insight here?
This is what I put on my 5th wheel. IMHO nothing better.

RE: Tampa, FL to Birmingham, AL - Sightseeing... What to do?

Pine Mountain GA is a good place to visit. It's a little early for Callaway Gardens but a nice place to see. The Little White House is in the area also. If you like old homes you can go into La Grange and see Hills and Dales Estate. If in La Grange you have to eat at Taste of Lemon.

RE: Tampa, FL to Birmingham, AL - Sightseeing... What to do?

Need recommendations, please...
My wife, 2 daughters (ages 16 & 12) and I are traveling (truck & 5th wheel) this week from Tampa to Birmingham.
We have some time to do a little sightseeing along the way (to or from).
We are always going to the beach, so something different would be good. Thinking something in Georgia, Alabama or mid-southern Tennessee (Chattanooga).
Any recommendations on something fun the family would enjoy seeing or doing?
Thought about Atlanta/Stone Mountain/Aquarium, Calaway Gardens, Lookout Mountain, any other thoughts???
Thanks, Tom & Jen
When are you planning this trip?
