RE: Long route travel plans

Our no time line started with pointing our compass NE from central Fl. We zig zagged across the US to Washington and then went on to Alaska. Took route 2 from Montana to Michigan then down the East coast. Took about 4 months. We never planned a thing and would never plan a trip.
If you pointed your compass NE from Florida and wound up in Washington state and Alaska, you should get a new compass. :)

RE: 2023 GM HD 505hp/1085tq

Gotta love improvements.
Remember when the 1989 Dodge Cummins with 3 speed trans and a whopping 160 Hp/400ft/lbs was the cats meow?
Right??
But a couple turns of the fuel screw and some 3k springs would wipe the sleep out of its eyes!
And destroy the transmission….
If I recall that tranny was a 727 that was nearly indestructible

RE: flex tape

Acetone it clean. Everyone will say NO NO NO. It will not hurt the rubber roof but it will clean it to where anything will stick. Be careful not to get it on anything else.

RE: corner separating

If you're not aware, there are screws under the rubber strip on the front of the mouldings. They have probably "pulled" (go into the edge of body side panels) possibly from heat expansion. Only a thought on my part, but this year has been good and hot in most of the country and your travels had to be in hot areas sometime this past year. As to fix, I'd pull the vinyl strips out and check the attaching screws. If they won't tighten and pull the mouldings back to proper position, maybe longer ones and some epoxy in the holes might do it.
Or rotted wood beneath.

RE: Weather is always around

We were in Helen Ga 12 years ago for the first time. As soon as we got there it began to drizzle and it did for the entire time we were there. We still talk about what a wonderful time we had in the rain.

RE: Toilet Tissue...

If you get to the point where you have the [email protected]@P pyramid try this. If you had the pyramid problem proceed as follows. Reach your hand down the hole as far as possible. When you feel anything chunky squeeze it between your fingers until it not chunky. Put 5 gallons of water down the hole and put you arm back in and swirl it around. Give it a few minutes and letr rip. Hope this helps. I have a low cost video of this if you need further instructions

RE: Closed: Border opening

Canada can stay closed for as long as they want. I want the USA to end all land crossing restrictions on June 21st. Then our border cities can start to recover and Canadian RV'ers can escape Canada.
Here here
I want the borders to stay closed forever.
