RE: I need help locating leveling jack pump

Sometimes these things are behind outside panels with no opening handle. I had one a while back on a Thor that I had to remove two bolts on the bottom of the panel to open the panel door. From the exterior, it appears to be a dummy panel. Don't understand why the manufacturers don't put openers on all exterior panels.

Tag axle question

When I bought our tag, I wanted the rear 4 rims to all match. I know that on some tags, the rim on the tag axle matches the front rim design and not the double wheel tag axle rim. Why don't all four rims match on all tags?

Passenger seat belts

Just looking for opinions. If you guys are travelling with say a 2 year old, are you belting the car seat into the sofa? Just wondering about the sideways position of the car seat. How about a 10 year old, do you have them belted on the sofa or what? Just searching for some safe options for future travels.

Leveling jack replacement on 2011 Damon

We have a 2011 Damon gas motorhome. Replacing the front leveling jack. I have a couple of questions. 1) Once the new jack is on and connected, do the lines have to be bled and if so, how do you do it? 2) The reservoir for the hydraulic fluid has a screw fill cap with a dip stick connected to it. No markings on the dip stick except for two lines. No markings on the plastic tank either. I presume one is full and the lower one is add. Question is should the level be checked with the jacks down or up? 3) Any other tips or comments welcome. Thanks!!

Need a MH inspector in the Tampa area

A good friend of mine is buying a used MH from LazyDays in Tampa. Due to Covid 19 situation, he cannot go to Tampa to pick it up but they have someone that can deliver it. We are in South Carolina. They quoted him $15K for an extended warranty which seems high to me. I suggested that he finds an independent inspector in the Tampa area to go to LazyDays and do a bumper to bumper inspection for him. Does anyone know of someone in the Tampa area that can do this and what an average fee for this type service would be? Thanks!

RE: Entrance steps won't go out

If you have a magnet contact, be sure one side is on the door frame and the other is on the door itself....

Where to camp and scuba ?

Does anyone know of a campground for a 42' class A full hookups and also has scuba diving opportunities available for some nice recreation diving? Looking for something like the clear springs in Florida but having trouble finding one with full hookups and one that allows our dog. Open to other ideas on different areas in the southeast.

Bluewater Key RV questions

We may be trying another Key West trip. Our first did not turn out too well but we learned a lot. This time we will stay at Bluewater Key. Couple of questions: 1) Is it safe to snorkel off the docks at the resort? 2) Is it safe to kayak off the docks at the resort? 3) What's the best places to eat around the resort? Any comments on this resort welcome.

RE: tires

Agree on the Michelins....not all agree but there is a market for old mh tires with low mileage and in good shape. Local trucking companies love them.
