RE: Kirkland motor oil

Amazon Oil I just recently ordered a case of this to test out. It is approved by GM for all GM engines. I use it in my grand daughters 2003 Chevy pickup with 180,000 miles on it. She'll burn through a quart about every 2,000 miles.

RE: Self Driving 18 wheeler Going 75 MPH

I've been wondering about how the trucking industry is adapting to self driving trucks and thought this was interesting that they are actually out on the road running them.

Self Driving 18 wheeler Going 75 MPH

On YouTube I follow several truck drivers. This driver, SuperTruckerDan, spotted another truck that was obviously a self driving truck with a lady driver at the wheel going the Arizona speed limit of 75 MPH. Self Driving Truck

RE: Side mirror replacement

These are not Velvac ... Rampro? Can't remember. But ... the trick was to put that retaining both back in, just a bit, and hammer upward on it :) So you got it done OK?

RE: 2004 Windsor Monaco:MAIN SLIDEOUTS WONT OPERATE,Bedroom Does

I have some motorcycle chain lube, hopefully it should work. Thanks I don't think I would use chain oil. I've used it on stuff and it's really thick.

RE: Norcold 1200LRIM Issues

Remove the panel outside and make sure you are getting 110 volts to the AC outlet that the refrigerator is plugged into. Did you by any chance have your RV washed during the trip? I went to a truck wash place ONCE and they power washed it. My Norcold refrigerator was dead for a day.

RE: Strange house battery issue

What is the voltage at the house battery posts when you measure it? Have you ever checked the water levels in the batteries?

RE: Will any portable compressor handle 95 psi?

Air Compressor This is what I carry in my coach. Works really quick and is amazingly quiet.

RE: Tesla is now accepting reservations for semis

Anyone noticed there is no gap between the cab and the trailer? Must be an articulating cover or the accordion pivot point is hidden by a hard cover? I'm not a trucker but it will be fun to go for their test drive invite. Yeah I noticed that too. Don't know what going on with that. I'm also curious what the tractor weighs, very important on a lot of loads.

RE: Time to hang up the keys...(consignment ?)

Years ago I put a Trailer on a consignment lot in Salinas CA. A week went by and I had a friend go to the lot pretending to be interested in it. They had raised the price we had agreed on by quite a bit and tried to sell my friend a brand new RV. They were a dealer and used the consignment RV's to draw people in as it made it look like they had a lot of RV's. I went back to them and took my trailer home. Sold it myself. My advice...if you go for consignment send somebody to check out what is actually going on.
