RE: Strange house battery issue

What is the voltage at the house battery posts when you measure it? Have you ever checked the water levels in the batteries?

RE: Will any portable compressor handle 95 psi?

Air Compressor This is what I carry in my coach. Works really quick and is amazingly quiet.

RE: Tesla is now accepting reservations for semis

Anyone noticed there is no gap between the cab and the trailer? Must be an articulating cover or the accordion pivot point is hidden by a hard cover? I'm not a trucker but it will be fun to go for their test drive invite. Yeah I noticed that too. Don't know what going on with that. I'm also curious what the tractor weighs, very important on a lot of loads.

RE: Time to hang up the keys...(consignment ?)

Years ago I put a Trailer on a consignment lot in Salinas CA. A week went by and I had a friend go to the lot pretending to be interested in it. They had raised the price we had agreed on by quite a bit and tried to sell my friend a brand new RV. They were a dealer and used the consignment RV's to draw people in as it made it look like they had a lot of RV's. I went back to them and took my trailer home. Sold it myself. My advice...if you go for consignment send somebody to check out what is actually going on.

Why wouldn't it fire up? Inquiring minds would like to know.

TonyandLesley...The board is currently being repaired as I understand it. I'd sure be interested in the final outcome and what he finds.

RE: Fuse on a Norcold 1200 refer?

Good luck getting the cover off. I had to remove my cover to reset the board and fashioned a cardboard cover to replace the black plastic one. Now it's simple to get to my board in case I need to reset it again.

RE: RVs and California's Planned Power Outages

I just came back from my Dad's 95th birthday party in Seattle where I met with many relatives. I have heard the first hand stories of what it is like to have blackouts on purpose. A good example of the US of A acting more like a third world nation all the time. People in California have trouble understanding the perils of wildlife and doing anything about it. Like creating defensible space, trimming around powerlines, thinning forests, creating community firebreaks, installing water tanks, providing escape routes. As a consequence they get to live with intermittent blackouts. It sounds like PG&E is tired of being sued and punitively showing the public that they should stop messing with them. This is really unbelievable. Sounds like a good idea. The devil is in the details.

RE: Winter Storage - Cover at Home or Store at Indoor Facillity?

When you parked it in his place did you do a walk around with your cellphone videoing the condition of the coach and noting all the existing dings? I now do that when I drop off my RV for any service. I covered a 25 foot trailer three times. Quit doing it as my helpers disappeared every time they knew I was going to cover it. Not fun, can't imagine doing yours.

RE: Transynd ??

Transynd is a TES 295 fluid. Any transmission fluid that says it meets TES 295 specifications is good.

RE: Need new shocks Las Vegas area, any...

You might ask at the RV park where you are staying. They usually know who is good and who is bad.
