RE: Good Sam's Logo

OK I don't have a clue if I have the badge so this post is to check it out. I'm a member. It's funny how you see something everyday and never realized it was there.

RE: Do you leave MH plugged in for power at home?

Just put in AGM batteries several months ago. Have replaced the batteries about every five years as preventive maintenance. Never had a battery failure so far but I was tired of always having to add water.

RE: Do you leave MH plugged in for power at home?

Mine has been plugged in by my house for 12 years. So far, so good. You need to check your batteries for water once a month or so.

RE: Emergency Flashers 2003 Workhorse Chassis Allegro 35DA

Sounds like a bad ground. That is the answer you are going to get from a lot of people, however nobody ever says which ground wire and where it is located. Including me. Good luck my friend, your going to need it. I know a really good RV repair place in Salt Lake, Where are you located in Utah? RV Repair

RE: Chassis battery issue

Disconnect Switch My coach doesn't charge the engine battery either. A simple disconnect switch will cure the problem. My coach already came with a built in engine disconnect switch but that one, or a similar one with different post connectors, will do the trick.

RE: How do I reach these clearance lights?

I think I'd leave it alone. You'll survive with one light out. Or...take a trip out here to California and I'll do it for free.

RE: Signature

How to make your signature so we can serve you better: 1. Log on and click "My Preferences". 2. On the "My Preferences" page click the middle box and enter your rig info. 3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Submit Changes" 4. Exit and you're done.

RE: Where is the Fuse/Breaker ?

"What a pain, wonder why they wouldn't wire the connector completely in the first place?" Because of guys like me. I will never have a toad or trailer tied to my engine charging system.

RE: Where is the Fuse/Breaker ?

Did you ever have power there?

RE: Any one flat tow a BMW?

I towed a 1991 Miata standard shift all over the country. What year is your Miata and is it standard or automatic? As far as REMCO requiring a trailer for the BMW....they usually know their business.

RE: Chewed Part and Alternator Question 96 Fleetwood with ford

I have two friends whose RV had engine rodent damage. Their insurance companies covered the repair. Have you checked with your insurance company?

Here in the Clovis and Fresno California area you are now allowed to park an RV on the street for people who work in essential jobs to live in and isolate themselves from their family....HOA's included.

RE: 6 volt batteries in series

Interesting... I never heard batteries called jars. I learn something new on here everyday.

RE: Batteries on of off

Florida...First thing that comes to my mind is thunderstorms, then hurricanes, then tornadoes. If it was mine it would NOT be connected to power. I'd disconnect the fully charged batteries and then show up a day early to take it out of storage and charge the batteries.

RE: Thanks Doug Rainer

Thank you Doug for all the time and effort you have put into your replies, they have helped more than you'll ever know. I noticed wolfe10 replied too. He's no slouch either. You guys rock!

A couple friends of mine had rodent damage on their RV's and their insurance covered the repairs. You may want to check with your insurance company.
