RE: 2011 Honda CR-V

I always do the procedure on my 03 CRV before moving it I will often start it when at a rest stop. It is all about the care and lubrication for the transmission.

RE: Cleaning up oxidation on gelcoat

Look up Polyglow and see what you think. If the prep is done right the finish should be shiny as new

RE: 1996 Pace Arrow A/C Question/Help

One or the other look like a low pressure switches. If it detects low pressure, the compressor will not engage so as to not damage it. You can jump the wires together on a low pressure switch for a moment and if the compressor engages, the system needs recharging. Hope that is a start for you

Make sure you keep the food in original package or at least keep the original bag.

RE: Hotwater Heater

The burner tube sounds like it is plugged. Bugs or dirt maybe.

RE: Radio display

On my radio I need to hold the off button much longer to turn unit right off. Might work for you.

RE: anybody ever install wallpaper inside their RV?

I have been busy doing the opposite, painting over my wallpaper. Time to get rid of the dusty rose and teal pattern. Maybe think about just painting it as well.

RE: question about battery

With the amount of knowledge needed here, the OP should go back to the dealer and ask for a full explanation on how to work all the systems on the brand new rv.

RE: Keeping mice out what do you do?

I keep a “ Wheel of death “ at home near my rig. Simple Home Depot type of bucket of water with a rod through it at the top and through a pop can with some peanut butter on it. It just spins and the mice drown in the water. You tube it to see it work.

RE: Looking for dog breed the travels well while Rving

We have two female Golden retrievers ( about 55 lbs each ) that love people and rarely bark. A little hairy and take up their share of room in the motorhome, but great companions.

A reminder to check your toad for all the things you need to inspect before driving off.

RE: Bathroom light fixture wire terminals

You can use regular marretts to reconnect wires. The same as used in household wiring, just use the size to fit the wires.

RE: Invisibrake for CRV

Mine is set for the suggested pressure which is about 65 psi. It has worked for me so far. The thing to do is drive then brake several times and then feel how warm the brakes are on the CRV. I don’t adjust mine for different roads. I have an 03 Honda

RE: Replacing Workhorse Brake Line

If you have hydraulic brakes, there must be bleeders at the wheels. If you change the brake line you will certainly have to bleed the system.

RE: gas line interferes with drain plug

My gas line has only a couple small screws to remove and the gas line is out of the way of the plug.

RE: House battery/Propane

House batteries should generally charge when driving or when plugged in. If you camp where there is no power, a generator or solar panels can be used. There is probably an app for finding propane, I usually don’t have any trouble finding it in the US

RE: air force one vs roadmaster invisibrake

The Invisibrake is supposed to send a small charge to the toad battery but I found I needed to add a 12v line from my motorhome to the car battery to keep it fully charged. It also has an led light mounted on the rv dash that comes on so you know when the car brakes are physically activated.

RE: Holiday Rambler Fuse location

My rig has fuses inside one of my upper cupboards for all the interior electrical items. I have a second fuse panel inside my battery compartment that has chassis related fuses. I don’t have any power to my seats but I did see a fuse block there for power seats.

RE: Toad on a Dolly

I put a base plate on my 03 CRV myself. It was about $600. ( always more in Canada). Was not that hard. There are company videos on how to do it. I also installed a Roadmaster Invisibrake system, about $800-$1000. Lighting kit another $100. My motorhome came with a Roadmaster tow bar so did not have to buy it. Run a fused line from the Honda battery to your front connector to keep it charged.
