What do you think? https://vault.myvzw.com/webcs/k3ye5xZPup Wheel wells are too narrow, sure would be a good combo if it would fit. Took the photo before leaving for Arizona. Barry

RE: Trip Report: New Mexico Atomic History

Thanks for taking the time to share your trip report. Great pictures and narratives. Love trip reports, they take me places I will probably never see. Thank you Barry

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

I have a set of new happie jack fast loads that I got at a TC rally on the eastern shore, Va. Are they good tie downs? Has anyone used them and would be willing to share your experience with them? They were a door prize that I did not win. The lucky winner sold them to me as he did not need them. Thinking about using them to hold down our Cascade waiting for us to pick it up. Thanks, Barry

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

As a truck camper owner, I know there will be things that will always need to be taken care of. The leaks in the cab over and by the fridge are her worst issues I think. Black tank I feel is a non issue, she just needs to learn how to manage it. Hoping she gets it all sorted out. Barry

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

Has anyone seen the video of radioactive road tripping and the many issues this lady has with her new Host Youkon? Sure is making me nervous about my new cascade. The water leaks she has bothers me the most. I can only imagine how she must feel buying a top end camper and experiencing so many manufacturing defects. Hope host steps up and takes care of her issues sooner than later. Nervous soon to be cascade owner, Barry

Thanks, that's great to hear the fire place will heat the camper. I'm gonna be real interested in the solar I have installed. It's going to be fun seeing what it will and want do. Barry

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

Yea, February is here and it is the shortest month of the year. 28 more days plus or minus a day and our trip to pick up our 22 host Cascade will begin. For those with the electric fire place, is it a good source of heat for taking the morning chill away? Will my extreme solar package be able to handle it? Thanks Barry

RE: HOST Yukon Dump Valve Location

You know **** happens…..and if it does, better to happpen 2 feet off the ground than 5 feet. It’s a very quirky place for a dump valve if you ask me and the grey tank dump is in another location so you cannot rise you hose after a black water dump with your grey water….. I have seen the cascade dumped by cascade owners on YouTube and I see it as a non issue. It also has the black tank in the driver's slide. I rinse my sewer hose by way of the clear elbow with a hose fitting for back flushing into the tanks and then closing tank valve and flushing sewer hose. I carry hose repair ends and an extra hose for this function. Many dump stations have hoses but no fittings (male end missing usually). I love the host campers and their engineers thinking outside the box to allow so much more in a TC than I could have ever imagined. Sewer dump location never threw up red flags when I ordered my Cascade, it is amazing the things, small things that are factors in what determines what we purchase. Got to love the incredible choices we have. Barry

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

I am very fortunate to have the new (quiet) Onan generator. I've only read about how quiet the new one is, hoping it is as quiet as has been reported on. Maybe the delays in my build got me the updated Onan. Not sure when Host ran out of stock of the old style Onan. Anyone here have real life experience with the new Onan Important thing is I will have the new one. Barry

You are going to have to have a blast with your new outfit once yoo get it all put together. Having the truck camper allows us to play with our toys (sxs, boats, jeeps etc). The sxs has been a great on the island, it makes getting around and finding fish a lot easier. The truck camper can do the same thing but just not as fast or easy. https://i.imgur.com/4Wm5TARl.jpg

RE: Bittersweet

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

Warren hang in there . When I put my deposit down pick up was to be the last of Sept, first of Oct. I never knew where I was at with my build date. I did hope that it would have been ready for pick up before the Christmas holidays. My daughter is to marry Feb 26, 2022, with all the events leading up to the wedding it was clear we wouldn't pick it up till after that date. So with the wedding behind us we will head to mesa, arizona the first of March. We have no plans after that except to enjoy the western USA with no date to return home. Be sure to check your build sheet so as to insure everything you wanted is on that form. Thanks everyone for the kind marks on our Host. Barry

RE: Delays in camper buiddate

They must have changed back as I have a solid floor under my generator. I don't think it's a big deal, may be a bit louder. Barry
