RE: What to do about old gas in tank

grit dog said " Siphoning out is generally more of a challenge than some of the responders understand. " no one suggested that. Did I miss something.:? Why yes I do believe you did.

RE: RV Dealers

I wouldn't expect anything to be included that isn't fastened to the RV; this would include propane tanks and a battery. Hoses, cords, levelers, adapters, etc. are all up to you to purchase. At that point I walk away.

RE: Installing a safe?

Bolt it into a semi hidden spot and have a smaller fingerprint open type pistol safe near the bed to use when you want it close by.

RE: Electronic jack shut down

You can use it manually for the trip if you don't get it working. Should be a crank in the storage area.

RE: Towing In Snow Who's Done It?

Chains on the trailer required or not is a must in my opinion. If you have to apply brakes without chains on the trailer it just might fishtail and only stop when it smashes into your pickup bed. I travel no more than about 30 mph at most with chains on and don't drive on bare pavement with them. Emergency or not, I wouldn't pull a trailer up and down that hill during a snow event.

RE: Can this weight be right?!?!

Be sure and call DMV, and let them know you aren't paying enough tab fees each year.

RE: two days cold coming, not winterized yet

Might want to run propane furnace on low setting as it throws some heat to the underbelly area of the trailer. If it gets well above freezing during the day you probably can get by without doing much at all.
