RE: Gas water heater not turning on

Clean the contacts at the board and try again. If that doesn't do it, it sounds like a new control board is in order. If warranty is still good take it to the dealer if not order a dinisor board replacment.

RE: Winter Cover

I think the weather takes the life out of anything left to the elements. I have a metal carport cover for both the RV and the boat and think they help keep the rigs protected from whatever weather is thrown at them..

RE: How much weight is too much?

Man you really opened the door. Sit back and be ready to be beaten for even thinking about doing that.

RE: Do airbags help?

You really need to have the right hitch componets for the weight and know how much you are really transfering back to the front of the tow rig. Air bags mostly cause more problems than they do good. You have to set them up before hitch set up is done.

RE: Installing a clean out at home

I think I agree with WPT-GC. If you hire a contractor to install per code and pull a permit, it is up to the contractor to do it right. OK to ask about placement but let the contractor do the job you hired him to do and the inspector to aprove the work.

RE: Shitzu with heart murmur

We had to put ours down this past summer after keeping her going for 4 years with the same problem. The vet did check-ups every 6 months or so and we put her on prescription meds. As the murmur got worse we had to increase the dose. Towards the end we had to also add a water pill to help keep the lungs clear. Better to get her on the meds soon to help keep the progression at a slower rate. As the leakage got worse we had to keep her really calm or she would go into a seizure.

RE: Montana Hwy 12

Honk when you go thru Elliston, lots of friendly folks live there. Beats the heck out of 90, a bit slower but a nice trip.

RE: Seattle RV show

I used to live in Seattle. People who live there get little practice driving in snow. The city is really steep in a lot of places. They have little snow remvoing equipment. It is more about having enough qualified people to put in the seat when you run 24 hours a day. That and you really need to have it stop snowing to get ahead of the storm. As for the show, maybe get a decent deal if you are buying and not many other people looking.

RE: Does a holdover 2018 Chevy make sense?

Don't forget to look at the options you may have to do without or don't want/need on the 18. If options do not matter to you go with the 18. As long as the price is right why not.

RE: Central WA to Phoenix

I would do I-5 down to Bakersfield, over to Barstow, 40 to Kingman and Phoenix.

RE: Dish antenna ideas

The longer the list of things to do the more breaks should be included. Make the wife prioritize the list, If you don't get them all done there is always tomorrow.

RE: Okay, I have frozen pipes??

Yes the pex pipe is not as apt to be damaged but any of the fittings exposed to the cold could be cracked. Shut the water off for now, and when the temps come back up plan on fixing some cracked parts.
